I have been a regular patient (for cleanings - a couple cavities) of Dr. Tuft for over 20 years. Good solid work by Dr. Tuft and her staff. I don't have a lot of dental needs.
But, last week - working in the yard - I bashed a tooth (#7) and snapped it half off.
Dr. Tuft carefully examined the damage, assessed the repair approach, and executed it perfectly. All in an hour or so. Looks like nothing ever happened.
Also her staff scheduled an appointment within 72 hours to do the work

Dr. Tuft and her staff are incredible. I fell and did a lot of damage to my front tooth. I called her on her cell phone on a Saturday and she decided that I could wait until Monday to see her. She scheduled me for the first office visit on Monday to look at it. She then worked me in that day to do an emergency root canal. She and her staff are very professional and kind. The root canal didn't hurt near as bad as previous root canals. I highly recommend her!

My experience was wonderful on my last visit to Dr. Tuft's office. I had bitten into something and felt a chip in my tooth and the office got me right in the next day to take care of the problem. The entire office is so friendly, knowledgable and caring, starting at the top with Dr. Tuft. I highly recommend Melissa Tuft and her staff for anything you need dental wise!

Thought it would be routine...but the grinding had caused some pockets that needed to be super-cleaned and filled in so those rocking and rolling teeth stay in my mouth.
As always, excellent consultation, explanation of options, scheduling to suit. We did it then and scheduled next apt.

It's been a few years since I've seen Melissa Tufts having recently moved back to SF. She's one of the best dentists that I've had. I recently had severe pain in a back tooth that required root canal. Melissa was able to see me and performed a painless procedure and immediately felt better. She's a very talented professional and I highly recommend her work. Excellent staff too. I look forward to seeing her again. How many dentists can you say that about.

Dr. Tuft's office is the first dental practice I actually look forward to visiting when I have an appointment for any kind of dental procedure, be it an exam, a filling or a crown.
Dr. Tuft is highly skilled, easy to talk to about one's concerns, and she practices pain-free dentistry. She has a great personality, a warm manner and a bright smile for each of her patients and all of her staff.
My hygienist, Angelica,is a dream: nice sense of humor, positive outlook on life, and, best of all, gently deft with her dental tools!
Debbie handles a phone call while setting up my next appointment at the same time she's processing your payment. She's always pleasant even while multi-tasking at her desk.
Dr. Tuft's practice seems to flows along smoothly, every staff member working seamlessly with the next. Dr. Tuft always gets my highest recommendation!
